Really lucky with the weather. Saturday morning I did a 1 mile loop on the
road bike to get a few more miles in and warm up.
We all rode together along the Sarn Helen Roman Road. On the 1st climb poor
Jim knackered an old footy injury and his knee was shot. He was forced to
roll all the way back down the hill and watch rugby on the telly.
We 5 went on to do the road up the east of the Senni Valley. We turned
right and up over past the Red Sandstone monolith and dropped down to the
farm at Maeswalter. There we had t and cakes at the farm. Great. The
chicken kept pekcing around our ankles. Then Rooster came along. Like Ralph
said only chance he'd get of a bird between his legs!
